1. General Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all contracts for waste collection, property clearance, commercial trade waste disposal, and recycling services provided by WASTEROUND LTD ("we", "us", "our", "WasteRound") to commercial and residential clients ("customer", "you").

By placing an online order, requesting a phone quote, uploading photos for an estimate, or permitting our collection crews to enter your property, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.

1.1 Scope of Service

WasteRound provides on-demand junk removal, Luton van load clearance (1/4 to Full Load), itemized catalog waste removal, single item pickups, end-of-tenancy clearance, office decommissioning, and commercial wheelie bin rounds within Greater London and M25 coverage areas.

1.2 Access & Crew Safety

Customers must ensure clear and safe access to items scheduled for removal. If items are located above the 2nd floor with no working elevator access, additional stair laborship charges may apply as disclosed during the booking process.

2. Cancellation Rights & Deposit Policy

We maintain a clear, transparent cancellation policy designed to balance statutory consumer rights with operational crew dispatch scheduling.

2.1 48-Hour Cancellation Notice Policy for £45 Deposit Refund

When booking online or reserving a collection slot, a fixed £45.00 online deposit is charged to confirm your date, vehicle allocation, and two-man crew schedule.

• Notice Given 48+ Hours Before Collection: If you cancel your booking at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled collection window, you will receive a 100% full refund (£45.00) back to your original payment card within 3-5 business days.
• Notice Given Less Than 48 Hours Before Collection: If you cancel less than 48 hours before your collection window, the £45.00 deposit is forfeited to cover crew allocation, route planning, and vehicle reservation costs.
• Express Same-Day / Next-Day Bookings: For express bookings scheduled within 48 hours of order placement, services are requested to commence immediately; therefore, cancellation after crew dispatch will forfeit the deposit.

3. Pricing & "No VAT" Notice

3.1 Payment Structure & Minimum Charge

• Online Deposit: A flat £45.00 deposit is charged at checkout to confirm your reservation.
• Remaining Balance: The remaining job total `(Total Quote Amount - £45.00 Deposit)` is due upon completion of the waste collection on site. Payment can be made to our crew via mobile chip & pin card reader or cash.
• Minimum Collection Charge: A minimum booking fee of £45.00 applies to all collections.

3.2 Access Fees & Heavy Item Surcharges

• Outside Property Pickups: FREE (0 extra charge).
• Inside Property Access: +£10.00 to +£20.00 labor access fee.
• Bulk Inside Access Fee: Single flat £25.00 fee when multiple bulky items are located inside.
• Sunday & Overnight Slots: +£50.00 surcharge for out-of-hours crew dispatch.

4. GDPR & Legal Record Retention

WasteRound Ltd strictly complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), Data Protection Act 2018, and statutory environmental waste audit retention mandates under UK legislation.

5. Privacy Policy & Data Handling

This section explains how WasteRound Ltd collects, processes, and protects your personal data when you interact with our website or services.

5.1 Data We Collect

We collect contact information (name, address, email, phone number), collection site postcodes, item photos submitted for fast 15-minute quotes, and payment gateway metadata processed through encrypted SSL connections.

5.2 Data Usage & Sharing Restrictions

• No Data Selling: We NEVER sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third-party marketers.
• Third-Party Processors: We share data strictly with essential service providers, including payment processor Stripe for deposit transactions, vehicle routing software, and Environment Agency officers upon audit demand.
• Your Rights: You have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data by contacting enquiries@wasteround.co.uk.

6. Duty of Care & EA Compliance

Under Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, every business and householder in the UK has a legal Duty of Care to ensure their waste is only transferred to a licensed waste carrier.

6.1 Prohibited & Hazardous Materials

Customers must notify us prior to collection if items contain hazardous materials (e.g., raw asbestos, gas cylinders, liquid chemicals, medical waste, or explosive items). Failure to declare hazardous waste may result in refusal of collection or specialized disposal surcharges.
